At Verdant Zone, we nurture every plant with care and stand behind the quality of our botanical specimens. Should your purchase not meet expectations, our returns policy is designed with the same attention we give to our rare cultivars.
Our Returns Philosophy
We understand that plants are living things that may experience stress during transit. While we take every precaution with our specialized packaging, if your plant arrives damaged or fails to thrive within the first 15 days, we’re happy to provide a replacement or refund.
Returns Process
- Initiate Your Return: Contact our Garden Support team within 15 days of receipt at [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the plant(s) in question
- Reason for return
- Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions if approved.
- Ship Back: For non-damaged items, please return the plant in its original packaging to: Verdant Zone Returns

Chicago, IL 60606 - Inspection: Our horticulture team will examine returned plants upon arrival.
- Resolution: You’ll be notified of your replacement shipment or refund within 3 business days after inspection.
Exchanges
Prefer a different specimen? We’re happy to exchange your plant for another of equal value within 15 days of receipt. Follow the same process as returns, specifying your desired exchange plant (choose from our Acer, Albizia, or other available varieties).
Refund Timeline & Methods
Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive your return. Your funds will be returned via your original payment method:
- Credit Cards (Visa/MasterCard/JCB): 3-5 business days after processing
- PayPal: 1-3 business days after processing
Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of our error.
